Ruby Zhang
Ruby (Ruishan) Zhang
Ruby (Ruishan) Zhang completed her Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics at the University of Chicago. She previously worked at the Center for the Economics of Human Development, where she analyzed the long-term health outcomes of early childhood care programs. She also worked at Harvard University where she analyzed the determinants of socioeconomic inequality. She is currently completing her economics Ph.D. at Harvard University.
Nicolas Zhang
Niclas Zhang
Nicolas Xuan-Yi Zhang is the Central Bank engagement manager at the MIT Digital Currency Initiative, a collaboration with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, which Nicolas joined after his graduate studies and research at MIT in mathematics and computer science.
Mathematics and computer science were also Nicolas’ fields in France, where he grew up and did his undergraduate studies (Ecole des Mines de Paris), and also recieved his first Master’s degree (Ecole Normale Superieure de Paris).
Heather_Tang
Heather Tang
Heather Tang graduated with a Bachelor’s in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she concentrated in Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. At Wharton, she was President of the Wharton Undergraduate Consulting Club and Treasurer of the Philomathean Society. Previously, Heather worked at Google leading on-platform COVID-19 response initiatives for Canada. Heather is also a Schwarzman Scholar, class of 2023. She will attend Tsinghua University this fall to complete a fully-funded Master’s degree in Global Affairs.
Jenny_Li
Jenny Li
Jenny (Jingjing) Li completed her Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Chicago. While in college, she interned at investment banking and venture capital firms. Jenny is currently a J.D. candidate at Columbia Law School. She will be pursuing corporate law in New York after graduation this year, dovetailing her finance background and legal training.
Nagisa_Tadjfar
Nagisa Tadjfar
Nagisa Tadjfar is a second year PhD student in economics at MIT, with an interest in the intersection of labor, public finance, and health economics. Previously, she worked as an economics researcher at the Becker Friedman Institute for two years, and as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs’ New York office for one year. Nagisa graduated from MIT in 2017 with a double major in Physics and Materials Engineering. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a trading intern at Goldman Sachs and a consulting intern at Accenture and Oliver Wyman.
